About
This page was started by cat lovers who often offer advice to people about pet issues on social media sites. We soon found that we were offering the same advice repeatedly, so it seemed like a good idea to make a web page with answers to the most common questions, that way we could simply give out a link and stop all that typing!
We started to build it in July 2021, and as we did, new ideas for content kept coming up, like a blog, and it will likely expand more as new ideas arise. And due to the amount of work we do on social media and in the community, it's taking a while to complete. We hope to have it mostly populated by the end of 2022.

The majority of our content is generic enough to help with most questions. However, we are located in Tampa, so our page on local shelters, and anything else related to our area, will obviously be of interest only to local residents. But we will also include some national information, social media links, etc. We want to be helpful to as many people as possible. We also have a blog aimed any anyone (with occasional local content). So if you've come across this page and you're not from our area - keep reading, hopefully we can help you too!
But what about dogs?
We love dogs too (and animals in general), and a great deal of information here can be applied to dogs. But for now, the people behind this site are primarily cat people, or our expertise is in the feline field. Some day we may make a doggie companion page. But in the meantime, it's all about the kitties.
Please note that the advice given on this site is not meant to replace information you should get from a veterinary professional or other animal expert. While some of us have veterinary or advanced animal care backgrounds, we are not veterinary professionals (unless stated). This is just advice from cat-lovers hoping to help out people with questions.
We are not paid to advertise products on this site. We will mention products occasionally if we are familiar with them. If we link to other pages, it's simply a convenience. The only exception is that we are an Amazon associate, so links to products on that site might earn a few cents towards the cost of the site. This isn't a site to make money from, but it would be nice to cover the cost of the domain, hosting, and our time. So we may be looking at some ways to monitize in the future.
